Dream Camp October 3-6, 2022

Travel

What airport should I fly into?

XNA. It is common to see it as Fayetteville, Bentonville, or Northwest Arkansas.

When should I arrive?

Be sure to arrive at Dream Camp by 4 p.m. Monday, October 3rd!

Do I need to rent a car?

There's no need to rent a car. You can Uber from the airport (XNA) to your hotel (21C). It’s about a 20 minute Uber. Hotel: 21 C 200 NE A St, Bentonville, AR 72712. All events will be held within walking distance of the hotel.

What should I do when I arrive at the hotel?

The FAM will have a touch point table with snacks and drinks, but to check in simply provide your name. Depending on when you arrive, we will have activities for you to participate in!

When does Dream Camp end?

Dream Camp officially ends on Wednesday Oct. 5th at 11:59pm. Plan to fly out Thursday Oct. 6th.

Attire

What should I wear?

This is not a suits conference. To the morning sessions, wear whatever you want! From your kit to jeans and a tee. Sessions are come as you are!

What should I wear if I am biking?

Bikers will need clothing that is athletic and comfortable. Chamois (padded biking shorts) are not a bad idea! If you want to clip into your bike, please bring your own shoes with clips and let us know in advance so we have the correct pedals on your bike rental. Helmets and water bottles will be provided.

What should I wear if I am flying or going on the Crystal Bridges tour?

Those who are not biking will still need comfortable clothes as they WILL BE WALKING. Although everything is relatively close, we will be active!

What about dinner? Do I need to dress up?

Wear what makes you feel comfortable! If you love your Affliction tee, rock it! If your favorite golf polo makes you feel good, that’s what you should wear! Shirts and shoes are required (just in case we have any nudists out there).

Here is a rundown of what each evening will entail:

  • Monday night: casual; tacos, chips, salsa

  • Tuesday night: nicer restaurant; plated, sit down, three courses

  • Wednesday: nicest night; plated, sit down, three courses

Food

What will I eat?

Breakfast will be on your own. The hotel has breakfast and there are a number of bakeries, bagel shops, and coffee shops within walking distance of the hotel.

Where will the rest of my meals come from?

Don’t worry! We will provide the rest! Lunch and dinner will be provided and delicious! And we didn’t forget about the drinks! All three dinners will have open bars.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Whether you want to mountain bike on world class single track, cycle picturesque greenways, take to the skies for an aerial tour, or discover timeless American art, Dream Camp Bentonville has an adventure for you.

What is Dream Camp?

Dream Camp is an experiential retreat for executives, thought leaders, and tastemakers working in the sleep and mattress industry.

Dream Camp is for the adventurous among us who aren't big on sitting inside a conference room and would rather make memories and connect with people by doing something active and engaging.

We believe when you come together around a shared interest like cycling, food, music and art we can fast-track relationships and help people form lifelong bonds.

We’re sick of temporary, transactional interactions that unfold at most conferences and we decided to do something about it. We play by our own rules. We love people and we believe that by deepening our connections we can make the world a better place.

Dream Camp is the only adventure retreat in the sleep industry designed to build community and connections that last a lifetime.

DREAM CAMP BENTONVILLE

October 3-6, 2022, Bentonville, Arkansas

Experiential gatherings, not conferences

This isn't a conference. Sorry to disappoint you. We love getting together with industry friends, but prefer to not be locked in conference halls listening to panel discussions. We're hands on and high touch. We'd rather be outdoors enjoying an adventure while connecting with sleep industry friends.

How do I get into Dream Camp?

Dream Camp is an invitation-only event for sleep industry executives, thought leaders, and tastemakers.

Dream Camps slots are limited because we create experiential gatherings designed to spark relationships, ideas, and connections that advance the mission to elevate sleep as the foundation of good health and a happy life.

If you're on this page, you've probably been invited.

FAQ

Who is behind Dream Camp?

Dream Camp is being brought to you by The FAM. It all started when Mark DesJardin from C3 contacted Mark Kinsley and shared his frustration with traditional industry gatherings. "I love getting together with people in the industry, but I hate golf, all the paid speakers, and stuffy cocktail parties. I want to ride bikes and hang out," DesJardin told Kinsley. From there they hatched the idea for Dream Camp, hosted several events and opened the doors to a select group of industry leaders.

Is this a one-time event?

Dream Camps are being planned around a variety of activities throughout the year. We’ll unveil more Dream Camps as they become available.

Why are there rules?

Show up to Dream Camp and you’ll understand why we created rules. It takes years to understand etiquette, but a set of temporary rules allows everyone to immerse themselves in Dream Camp and operate from the same playbook. The rules allow us to connect on a deeper level and walk away having had the best possible shared experience.

What am I going to get out of Dream Camp?

Normally we'd say, "You get what you give," but we understand why you might ask this question. You’re taking time away from your families and work. We believe Dream Camp will reinvigorate your sense of purpose in the sleep industry, deepen your connections so you can more easily solve problems and tackle opportunities. Plus, you’re going to have fun (a lot of fun). Remember, this is your life. As far as we know, you only get one. You deserve to have lots of fun with amazing people and do good work.

What if I don’t mountain bike?

No problem! Crystal Bridges and The Momentary are world class art museums and we will be offering private tours of both. We will also offer private flying lessons, cooking classes, and greenway bike rides for those who like to stay on the beaten path.
