Tempur+Sealy Donates 128 Mattresses to Dreams 4 All Foundation

After Hurricane Mathew devastated parts of the Carolinas in 2016, Keith Moneymaker, owner of Sweet Dreams Mattresses & More, created the Dreams 4 All Foundation to give back and support the recovery efforts.

Four years later, the charity has grown exponentially, and the store recently announced that Tempur+Sealy has pledged to donate 128 mattresses to the foundation.

The approximate retail value of this donation is $1 million—and all mattresses will go directly to Afghan & Syrian refugees arriving in the area as well as people applying for mattresses through request forms on the retailer’s website.

“I am super grateful for Tempur+Sealy believing in the idea we are growing,” Moneymaker says. “We are in such a meaningful and powerful industry and have the ability to not let people sleep on the floor. I found a step-by-step method to prove that and set independent dealers apart to have an impact on their community. Having a company like Tempur+Sealy get behind me speaks volumes about the movement we are at the forefront of creating.”

The Dreams 4 All Foundation celebrated its annual fundraiser in October with nearly 200 people in attendance and raised $27,900 through sponsorships, donations, and a silent auction.

So far this year, the foundation has gathered and donated up to 300 mattresses, 27 of which were delivered to families in October alone. It has also been able to provide 44 Afghan/Syrian refugee families with mattresses so far.
