Mattress News: Pleasant Mattress Rebrands McCroskey, Diamond and R.E.S.T. Launch Adjustable Bases

Renaissance Elevated Sleep Technology (R.E.S.T.) has launched a five-model program of adjustable bases ahead of the summer Las Vegas Market, and company officials say it has in-stock availability to help drive retail traffic and sales.

The five-base program offers lightweight, foldable models ranging in retail price for queen size from $699-$1,499. Other sizes include twin XL and king sizes. All models are shippable by UPS or FedEx.

The Venice model offers zero clearance and wall hugger features and includes a wireless remote with three preset memory settings; functions include backrest, footrest, neck tilt, zero gravity, massage, side sleep, USB, Bluetooth, and LED light.

Industry veteran Paris Fealy launched R.E.S.T. late last year, leveraging decades of experience and established relationships in mattresses and adjustable beds to build a partner network of factories with matched capabilities to ensure consistent product quality.

Diamond Mattress launches adjustable bases and foundations

Diamond Mattress rounds out its bedding solutions with the introduction of all-new adjustable bases and foundations for the modern consumer.

The new adjustable base program includes three models for a good-better-best story, and all models offer 850-lb. weight capacity and are shippable by UPS.

Omni Massage is the top model and retails at $1,199 in queen. It features massage functionality, head/foot adjustment, anti-snore position, under-bed lighting, built-in dual USB ports, and a Bluetooth-enabled touch screen remote with memory settings, flashlight and a TV position button.

The Zero Gravity base retails at $899 in queen and features head/foot adjustment and three pre-set positions (flat, lounge, and zero gravity), 12-inch adjustable height legs, split sync capability, and a Bluetooth-enabled wireless remote with memory settings, flashlight, and a TV position button. The Essential base offers head adjustment and a wired remote, retailing at $699 in queen.

The new, lightweight Versatile foundation has six-inch legs and an eight-inch base. The foundation offers strong and noiseless support in addition to a clean look with a fabric cover that’s FR compliant. Priced right at $299 retail, the foundations are lightweight, easy to move and set-up, and ship economically anywhere in the U.S. saving warehouse and truck space.

Pleasant Mattress rebrands McRoskey mattress

Pleasant Mattress has completed a re-branding of its McRoskey mattress brand as it prepares for the nationwide rollout of the premium line beyond its San Francisco roots.

The re-branding includes two new cover patterns and distinctive elements designed to stand out on the retail floor as an elite brand for the luxury mattress market. The initiative precedes the brand’s first national placement—fittingly—in the original McRoskey San Francisco flagship retail store where it first debuted more than 100 years ago.

Offerings include the Modern and the Classic collections. The Modern features an all-natural construction and is built on a proprietarily designed pocketed-coil system, while the Classic is constructed with the tried-and-true McRoskey open-coil system.

The new look of McRoskey was created through a partnership with fabric experts from the top premier global mills in the U.S. The two fabrics include Framing Fog and Timeless Tartan, each in cool shades of blue-gray with symmetrical patterns. In addition to the emblematic fabrics, each mattress includes tufted rosettes, flat matte black border airlets and eight handles that seamlessly blend into the iconic pattern.

Spring Air reintroduces ComfortFlex

Spring Air International is reintroducing its ComfortFlex line to provide a solution for retailers looking for an “aggressively priced, nationally branded bedding program.”

The ComfortFlex collection will be priced between $399 and $699 in queen and will be unveiled digitally this summer and on display during the Summer Las Vegas Market, Aug. 22-26.

The collection will feature two models – Elements, which includes three comfort choices, and Evolution, which offers four comfort choices. Each includes a firm, a plush and a Eurotop option, while Evolution will also include a pillow top offering.

The ComfortFlex brand originally made its bow in 2001, but with consumers shifting their attention to quality home furnishings at affordable prices, the company has identified a need to expand its brand portfolio to provide its retail partners with a line priced to appeal to value-conscious consumers.
