GhostBed is launching a tech-filled mattress, Eclipse is tapping into an iconic name that gets 64 million Google searches each year, and Magniflex is introducing a calming pillow.
Boxed beds manufacturer GhostBed is entering the Smart Bed market with the launch of the Ghost SmartBed at Las Vegas Market.
The new SmartBed allows a person to customize his or her comfort levels as well as collect data by monitoring the sleep experience throughout the night. The bed has 2,000 zone detection points on each side of the mattress, located just below the sleeping surface, which have sensors that monitor respiration, position, and movement through GhostBed’s Ghost Vision technology.
The smart support system consists of five medical-grade air chambers, which independently react to make automatic real-time adjustments to the comfort levels for the head, shoulders, torso, hips, and legs by way of the company’s Ghost Relay technology.
“The Ghost SmartBed will establish a significant presence for us in the fast-growing field of smart bedding,” says Alan Hirschhorn, executive vice president of sales for GhostBed. “It also puts us front and center with consumers whose health concerns have been heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Consumers want to know more about their sleep habits because they see the relationship between sleep and overall good health—and now we can offer them a bed that provides key information about the quality of their sleep each night and allows them to fully customize their bed to their desired comfort setting.”
The mattress is controlled by the Ghost Smart App, which can be downloaded onto any smartphone or tablet and allows both sleepers to independently adjust the comfort levels in the air chambers for their side of the bed.
GhostBed’s first introduction of their new Smart Bed Technology will be their patented 3D Matrix model, the surface of which is constructed in a honeycomb pattern which is infused with gel polymer that stretches in every direction to both distribute weight evenly and absorb excess heat through the night. Above the air chamber’s support system are three layers of gel memory foam, which enhance the bed’s cooling properties and add a further dimension to its comfort levels.

Eclipse Introduces Hemingway Adventure Series
The name “Ernest Hemingway” is searched for online nearly 64 million times each year, which is just one reason Eclipse International is launching the Hemingway Adventure Series by Chittenden & Eastman at Las Vegas Market.
The other reason, according to the company, is to offer retailers another premium bedding option.
“Several of our major retail partners acknowledge the digital dynamics and the brand awareness that comes with the Ernest Hemingway name,” says Stuart Carlitz, president and CEO of Eclipse International. “With over 64 million searches conducted on the brand yearly, our Adventure Series is not only a premium, handcrafted collection, but it comes with the ability to convert those online searches to traffic to our retailer’s websites.”
Made in the U.S., the Adventure Series features OEKO-TEX 100 certified Talalay latex, which is free of any unhealthy or harmful chemicals. It’s hand-tufted with 100 percent cotton damask imported from Belgium, and the cover “acts as a thermal barrier to dissipate heat throughout the night while also including an additional comfort layer,” according to the company.
Available in firm, plush and pillow top, the Adventure Series will begin at popular price points and expand into a more luxury segment. Eclipse’s Las Vegas showroom is located in B-1118 of the World Market Center.
Magniflex launches CBD-infused Pillow
Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a material extracted from the cannabis plant and is known for its ability to provide both a sense of tranquility and relief from pain and stress, properties that can encourage a deeper and more restful night’s sleep.
And responding to the popularity of CBD Magniflex USA will unveil the CBD Serenity Pillow, a medium-comfort pillow whose cover is infused with CBD, at the upcoming Summer Las Vegas Market.

The pillow is made with a breathable and natural fiber that wicks away moisture to help keep the head, neck, and shoulders cool during sleep. The interior of the pillow consists of Magniflex’s proprietary Memoform memory foam, which adapts to the weight of the head, neck and shoulders. The pillow is also produced with the company’s Airyform technology, which inserts air holes in the core of the foam to provide breathability and optimal dispersion of heat and moisture.
