Casper is opening its first branded store-in-a-store in Bed Bath & Beyond’s newly redesigned flagship New York City store later this month, marking the first move in the two retail giant’s new partnership.
The bed-in-a-box company will “create immersive in-store shopping experiences of its award-winning suite of sleep offerings to Bed Bath & Beyond customers,” according to a release.
In addition to the flagship store, Bed Bath & Beyond’s store in the city’s Tribeca neighborhood and in Bridgewater, New Jersey will also allow customers to experience Casper in-person, and Casper products will become available at additional Bed Bath & Beyond locations across the U.S. in the coming months.
Casper now has more than 70 retail store locations as the brand remains focused on the brick-and-mortar world.
King Koil’s Smartlife Expansion
King Koil has added a split-head mattress and coordinating premium adjustable base to its Smartlife Mattress collection.
Made with the Smartlife collection’s patented body-sensing technology, the split-head mattress, combined with the new power base, allows couples to adjust the head of each side to meet their personal comfort preferences.
Marketed under the premier iMotion by King Koil brand, the adjustable base is designed to be merchandised with the Smartlife split-head mattress, offering retailers an integrated merchandising strategy that enables them to take advantage of attachment rates for power bases and mattresses for high-end consumers shopping in the luxury segment.
“The rise in adjustable base interest is not only at mid and low-price points, but increasingly of interest to the luxury consumer,” says King Koil CEO David Binke. “We are expanding our lineup because the premium consumer is looking for more innovation and options that are currently available.
